Accessibility Statement

Our Commitment

Nate's Detailz wants everyone, including people with disabilities, to be able to use this website. We build toward the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, and we keep reviewing and improving the site.

What We Have Done

• A visible focus indicator on every link, button and field, with a three-band ring on buttons so it shows on light and dark backgrounds.
• A skip-to-content link, one main heading per page and headings in order.
• A visible label on every form field. Errors are explained in a sentence, tied to the field for screen readers and never shown by color alone.
• Alternative text on every photo of our work. Decorative images and icons are marked so screen readers skip them.
• A mobile menu that keeps focus inside it, closes with Escape and returns focus to the menu button.
• The vehicle size picker and the gallery filter are real radio buttons, so they work with the keyboard and announce their choices. Every starting price is also in a full price table on our Services page.
• The Get Your Price builder is one regular form. Each step is a labeled group of radio buttons or checkboxes, the keyboard moves focus to each new step, and the step number is announced. Without JavaScript, every question shows on one page and the form still sends.
• The before and after comparison is a real slider that works with the arrow keys. Without JavaScript, the two photos show side by side.
• Tap targets of at least 44 pixels on phones, and form text of at least 16 pixels.
• Text and buttons meet 4.5:1 contrast. Our brand red and blue are lightened on black backgrounds so text stays readable.
• Support for the reduced-motion setting, which turns animation off. No animation runs longer than about a second.

Known Limitations

• Our logo's red and blue letters sit at about 3.3:1 contrast on the black header. The business name is also written out as text on every page and in the logo's accessible name.
• In older browsers that do not support a modern CSS feature, the size picker shows the Small price only and the gallery filter shows every photo. The full price table on the Services page works everywhere.
• Our form uses Google reCAPTCHA. Google builds and controls it, and we cannot guarantee its accessibility.
• We have not yet tested the site with real users of screen readers or other assistive technology. Our review has been done in the code, with the keyboard and by measuring contrast in a browser.
